Prof. Miriam Therese Winter took a trip to New York on March 13 to witness legendary performer Melba Moore and her father, keyboard artist Clement Leroy Mooreman (soon-to-be 98), record Prof. Winter’s song, “All God’s Children,” for the forthcoming CD, Breath of the Spirit.

Breath of the Spirit is the second CD in a compilation called “Sacred Folk Songs.” Dan Paulos, director of the St. Bernadette Institute of Sacred Art in Albuquerque, N.M., came up with the idea to ask well-known artists to sing Prof. Winter’s best loved songs as a tribute to her and as a way to introduce the songs to a new generation. All proceeds from the project go to Prof. Winter’s order, the Medical Mission Sisters.
