Hartford Seminary Student Coordinates Interfaith Panel at Fairfield University

Hartford Seminary student Allison Taylor, as part of the New Faces of Ministry project, is coordinating an interfaith panel involving a number of Hartford Seminary faculty and students at Fairfield University on Oct. 22

The topic is “Interfaith Engagement: “What’s to Fear?” The program is open to the Fairfield University community.

Panel participants include Hartford Seminary Profs. Yehezkel Landau and Najib Awad, and International Peacemaking students Andrew Luisi and Eman Zahran.

The panel will look at this question: Against the backdrop of a rising tide of violence being committed around the world in the name of religion, the media tends to elevate our fears of people different from us. How do we rise above the negativity and build bridges between our faith communities?
