Prof. Najib Awad was featured on the Stan Simpson Show on Fox 61 on Saturday, Oct. 31. The subject of the interview was the plight of the Syrian refugees, and how Connecticut and America in general can respond to the crisis. The segment can be seen at this link.

Prof. Awad will also be part of a panel at 6 p.m., Nov. 5 at The Meeting House of Center Church, 675 Main St., Hartford. The panel is the first of a series of Meeting House Dialogues, and this one will focus on “Responding to the Syrian Refugee Crisis.” It is free and open to the public. Prof. Awad, Associate Professor of Christian Theology, is a scholar, author and poet from Syria.
