Prof. Najib Awad participated in the X Congress of Arab-Christian  Studies organized by the Pontificio Istituto Orientale in Rome from August 24-26, 2016. He read a paper titled “‘wa yabqā wajhu rabbika zū al-jalāli  wal-īkrām’; ‘wajh’ as a Qur᾽ānic term in the Kalām of Theodore Abū Qurrah on the Trinity.”
