Between Oct. 31 and Nov. 2, Prof. Najib Awad participated in a conference titled “Interreligious Dialogue on Diversity, Tolerance and Social Cohesion in the Arab Region” organized by UNDP and KAICIID in Amman, Jordan. His contribution was “Toward a Crystalization of a Scholarly Agenda on Diversity, Tolerance and Social Cohesion in the Arab Region.”
On Nov. 10, Prof. Awad was invited by Prof. Marianne Moyaert from the Department of Theology and Religious Studies in Vrije Universiteit, Amsterdam, to lecture in one of their “Expert Meeting” classes. He gave two lectures titled “The Refugee Crisis: Deciphering the Genome of Crisis in ‘Refugee Crisis’: Toward a Hermeneutic Tripod.”
