On Dec. 19-20, Professor Yahya Michot took part in the international Symposium “Universal science (al-ilm al-kullî) & the Order of Knowledge” convened by Tabah Research and Cambridge Muslim College at Downing College, Cambridge (UK).

Professor Michot delivered a keynote lecture on “Semiotics, Epistemology and Aestheticism in the late Ottoman era. A Diagram by Mehmed Emîn of Iskilib (1285/1868)”.

In other news, his book, Ibn Taymiyya: Islam – Weg der Mitte, is now published in German.
