Dr. Lucinda Mosher Presents on Cultural Competency for Healthcare Professionals

Dr. Lucinda Mosher, Faculty Associate in Interfaith Studies, was one of a dozen presenters for United For Hope: An Educational Event Exploring Organ and Tissue Donation as an Important End of Life Option, held Oct. 18 at St. Francis Hospital in Hartford.

For this program, sponsored by New England Donor Services, Dr. Mosher offered a cultural-competency training for nurses, chaplains, social-workers and other healthcare professionals on religion-informed attitudes toward personhood, death, and organ donation and reception.
