Professor Miriam Therese Winter has been invited to speak at the United Nations on March 14 about Transformative Spirituality: Living in and through the Spirit.
Professor Winter describes her talk this way: “An emerging planetary reality demands a shift in consciousness to a more inclusive way of being in the world as individuals and as a species. What is required of us is a radical reorientation of behavior and beliefs, which can only happen when we opt wholeheartedly to live in and through the Spirit.”
This U.N. session will be shared with Dr. Azza Karam, who serves as the senior advisor on social and cultural development at the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), where she coordinates UNFPA-wide outreach with faith-based partners and chairs the UN Inter-Agency Task Force on Religion and Development.
