Professor Najib George Awad traveled to Paris recently to read a paper titled Al-Madina Document in Contemporary Arab-Muslim and Western Scholarship: Surveying and Assessing some Intellectual Orientations and Reading Strategies.

The paper was presented at a conference called Religion et État dans l’Islam Quelle réévaluations la portée de la Ṣaḥīfa à la lumière des recherches récentes? held at Sorbonne University in Paris, France.

Professor Awad also participated in a radio interview in Arabic with the Café Show program on the Monte Carlo International Radio Station. The subject was his new book Umayyad Christianity and religious fanaticism. Visit this link for the complete interview.
