The Rev. Dr. Donna Schaper, Faculty Associate in Religious Leadership, has been selected to receive a 2020 Pastoral Study Project Grant.

The Pastoral Study Project is awarded on behalf of the Louisville Institute Board, which received 119 applications throughout the United States and Canada this year. The Rev. Dr. Schaper was among 33 pastoral leaders to be awarded the grant. She will attend a Pastoral Study Project consultation at Louisville Presbyterian Seminary in February 2020, which will focus on ways of seeking knowledge and wisdom as pastors.

The title of Dr. Schaper’s grant is “What language Shall I borrow for Justice Ministry Education.” She will study the language used in Justice Ministry Curricula, as well as explore web-based materials.
