Hartford Seminary learned recently of the death of one of our alums, JoAnne Bauer, who lived in the West End of Hartford. JoAnne was a graduate of the Women’s Leadership Institute and of our MA program. She will be deeply missed by our community.
JoAnne was a Holistic Wellness Coach and Consultant, and a Spiritual Counselor. In addition to her degree from Hartford Seminary, she had a Ph.D. from New York University in Communication Arts and Technology, a Master’s in Special Education and Teaching from Central Connecticut State University, a 6th Year certification from UConn, and a BA in Philosophy and Religious Studies from Wilson College.
We share this remembrance from the Unitarian Society of Hartford, where JoAnne was a member.
