Hartford Seminary’s graduation was held via Zoom webinar this year as graduates and their families watched remotely due to the COVID-19 crisis. The May 15 ceremony featured an Invocation by the Rt. Rev. Dr. Benjamin Watts, a welcome address by Board of Trustees Chair James K. Robertson Jr., the President’s Address from President Joel N. Lohr, and words from faculty representative Dr. Deena Grant.

Chaplain Aida Mansoor read the names of each graduate by program, and Dr. Najib Awad awarded the student prizes. The more than 200 who watched via Zoom and the more than 1,000 who tuned in on Facebook Live viewed a virtual choir performance coordinated by Dr. Allison Norton and a video of congratulations from the faculty. Dr. Bilal Ansari closed the program with a Benediction.
