Technology for Hybrid Congregations (AM-669)

This course is designed to equip leaders for congregational life in a post-COVID age. The pandemic proved that our congregations can, and should, adapt to living and ministering in a 21st-century context with 21st-century tools. Most congregations pivoted quickly and effectively, but without significant time to study and research the technology available. Together, we will explore technology for in-person and online worship; tools and systems for more effective ministry; new metrics for vital congregations; technology for online community and spiritual formation; the newest and most effective ways to use social media; and an approach to overcoming technophobia in congregations and in ourselves.
