Biography

Dr. Clark is a Faculty Associate in World Christianity. His highly interactive and engaging courses stress the ethnic, cultural and geographic diversity of Christianity and the vital roles of women in the faith.

Since 2018 Dr. Clark has served as the Director of Instructional Design and Assessment – a position that helps him foster improvements in teaching and learning. Before coming to Hartford Seminary, Dr. Clark served as an Instructional Designer and Faculty Development specialist in both K-12 and Higher Education.

Dr. Clark is the father of college-age twins, and he has been married more than half of his life to his wife, Amy. He loves singing, songwriting, swimming, reading science fiction, playing board games, and long walks in the woods.
