Hear from chaplains who have been working in the field of Prison Chaplaincy.

Speakers:

Mustafa Boz  is a graduate of Hartford Seminary’s 72 credit Islamic Chaplaincy Program. He currently serves as a Muslim Chaplain for the Federal Correctional Institution in Michigan.  He has extensive experience in state and federal prison systems and is passionate about interfaith and community work. As a resident of the Michigan metro-Detroit area, he works to establish relations with local communities. He is a member of the Imam’s Council of the Michigan Muslim Community Council. 

 Rabia Muhammad  is completing Hartford Seminary’s 72 credit Islamic Chaplaincy Program.  She has extensive experience working for the New York State prison system and now serves as at the Department’s headquarters in the Office of Ministerial, Family and Volunteer Services. Rabia earned her Master of Social Work (MSW) from SUNY Buffalo.
