The E. Rhodes and Leona B. Carpenter Foundation has donated funds to Hartford Seminary to provide scholarships to one International Peacemaking Program student each year for three years. The students funded by the foundation will have a commitment to international religious peacemaking and will also identify as LGBT.

Emerging leaders from the U.S. or abroad with demonstrated experience in and potential for interfaith dialogue and leadership are invited to apply for places in the International Peacemaking Program.  Participation in the program assumes a commitment to return home and put newly acquired skills to use.  The application process is the same as for all applicants to the International Peacemaking Program.
