Sometimes you have a citation for an article, but don’t know where to find the actual content of the article. If you have found something in Index Islamicus online, it is probably only a citation, not a full-text item.
Your citation should include:
- Journal title
- Article title
- Article author
- Journal issue, year, volume
Four Steps to Finding Your Article
Step 1: Search for the journal in the list of journals that are in our full-text databases.
Step 2: Search for the journal title in our A-Z list. Use the Find Journals box on the search page.
If you do not find it in Step 1 or 2, we do not have electronic access to it.
Step 3: Search for the journal title in the Library catalog:
Step 4: If we do not have it online or in print, you may request it via ILL.
