Lectures Organized by the Imam Ali Chair

As a supplement to courses offered at Hartford Seminary, the Imam Ali Chair has sponsored a series of lectures at Hartford Seminary on a variety of topics. They can be viewed below.

Sept. 25, 2018: “The Sunni-Shi’i Relationship and the Burden of History” with Dr. Karim Douglas Crow, Scholar-Coordinator on Islamic Thought and Muslim Modernity for the Council for Research in Values and Philosophy in Washington, D.C.

May 14, 2018: “The Art of Coexistence in the Teachings of the Shi’i Imams” with Professor Seyfeddin Kara of Hartford Seminary

April 5, 2018: “Imamology in Twelver-Shi’ite Islamic Thought” with Hadi Qazwini, Ph.D. candidate at the University of South California.
